KBC Tools and Machinery opened back in 1965 with one location in Detroit, Michigan. A few years later, we produced one of the first Direct Mail Catalogs of tooling for the metalworking machine shops. The timing was right for a more efficient distribution system; back then, most shop supplies were sold by door-to-door salesmen. With new "toll-free" phone numbers and UPS delivery across the entire U.S., this business model really took off. In the mid-seventies, machinery was added to our ever-expanding line of supplies for the metalworking machine shop. After visiting the factories and testing samples of the machines, we started selling our "KBC" brand; milling machines, lathes, bandsaws, grinders and drill presses. Many things have changed since those early days (can you believe we used to sell shapers?), but we still strive to provide customers with top quality machinery at the best price without sacrificing service.

TERMS OF SALE

Payment terms:
NET 30, Check, Credit Card or Lease. Net 30 payment terms available with approved credit. You can prepay your order by check or credit card or use our "lease-to-own" machinery financing with low monthly payments.

Pricing:
We strive to offer the lowest possible prices on everything we sell. If you do find a lower price for a comparable machine elsewhere we will beat the price; we will not be undersold! We do reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on this web site. Pricing will be confirmed when you contact us.

Shipping:
Shipping is freight collect (f.o.b. shipping point). Some machines are available for pick-up at your local KBC warehouse with no shipping charge. Many "Jet" and some "Wilton" brand machines are shipped free from our supplier's warehouse. We will shop for the best price on trucking and quote you that cost. KBC is not responsible for damage or loss by the freight company, we only use fully insured carriers to transport your machine. Inspect the shipment on arrival and note any damage on the bill of lading BEFORE YOU SIGN. If any damage has occurred immediately contact the trucking company and KBC.

Warranty:
All KBC brand machines are covered with a 1 year parts replacement warranty. Other brands have their own specific warranty policy which varies from one manufacturer to the other. We would be happy to provide more details about the specific warranty for any machine you are looking at.

Corrections:
Some machines are shown with optional equipment. There may be minor changes in appearance as the manufacturers continuously work to improve their products. Specifications may change for the same reason; you will be informed of any significant changes prior to your purchase.
